Mark Suster is interviewing a founder who used AngelList on This Week in Venture Capital. Today. This Wednesday 5pm Pacific. The show is live and you can send in questions. Watch it here.

If you’ve been reading this blog for the last few months, you know we’re big fans of Mark. You may also know Mark as the guy who wrote this.

I never miss an episode of Mark’s show—it helps me get into the work groove while I’m brushing my teeth in the morning.

Mark is being very stealthy about who he’s interviewing and your guess is as good as mine. The AngelList team is going to be watching it live. See you there.

I’m preparing for an “Angel” raise at the moment and I watched a few episodes yesterday evening. The “golden nuggets” of knowledge in this show helped me solidify my narrative… with strong, compelling evidence…

Great job of highlighting the awesomeness of TWiVC..

AngelList is very difficult site to search and contact angels. Mostly it links to Linkin profile of the angel and that’s it. no way to send direct message, no way to follow. And don’t get me started with search! It just sucks! I don’t know how they even got included into Startup America website. Couple of drunk programmers wrote an ajax site – I could hire a teenager to do the same thing.

The point of the AngelList site isn’t for you to contact angels but for them to contact you. Every angel gets way more unsolicited deal flow than they could possibly ever handle – so they simply wouldn’t participate if AngelList was more of the same. The fact that they are using it to either actively identify companies and approach them or receiving daily emails with start-ups that Nivi & Navi have handpicked is what makes it valuable.
