Dan is your typical intense, intellectual, and charming genius. What sets him apart is his ability to work harder than everyone else.
Best co-founder in the world. Best technical guy in the world.
Nivi’s the jam, a super genius down for the revolution.
Nivi is an extraordinary individual and a great guy to work with.
Let Nivi show your start-up how to do it.
Nivi is rational, honest, and fearless. If you are a road, get underneath him. If you are money, get in his pocket. If you are a wall, get out of his way. I saw him take Venture Hacks from a random idea to the site and blog you see today, through sheer relentlessness. I’d back him on any thing, any day.
Brian is the secret sauce of LA. So glad to have him in the tech community here. He fires up a team better than anyone. Clarity of vision and the ability to convey that to fellow entrepreneurs is priceless.
Brian knows his stuff better than most.
e.g. How do you know Brian Norgard?
Despite having what’s likely the fuzziest profile pic on VH, Brian’s incredibly sharp. He’s making stuff happen down here in LA and always willing to give of his time to help a fellow entrepreneur. Always a good guy to sip Modelos with.
Brian is a young entrepreneur / investor with surprising sophistication. Too bad he’s serving time in LA, as he’d be a key part of the Silicon Valley entrepreneur network.
Newroo’s content aggregator was acquired by FOX Interactive Media in March of 2006. Founded by Brian Norgard and Dan Gould directly out of Brown University, Newroo received no institutional funding. The Newroo technology was designed to filter micro-content from around the Web. The product and technology have since been reconfigured to serve as the News arm of MySpace.
Newroo was acquired by FIM before they raised venture capital. Or launched a product. I met the founders, Brian Norgard and Dan Gould when they cold called me.
Newroo was acquired by FOX Interactive Media in 2006. Newroo is a platform for managing decentralized media (using machine learning technologies). Dan Gould was my co-founder. It now powers MySpace News, among other things. Email me if you have any questions.
Dan is by far one of the smartest people that ever was. Strike up a conversation with him about anything and you will be sure he got a PhD in the subject. What’s more amazing is that he’s been able to parlay this intelligence into business success.
