Have never met an entrepreneur more suited to do TV interviews. Calm, cool, sweatless – the whole bag.
Also builds cool companies.
If you were to describe a solid all-around guy the definition would be Jon Bischke.
Bottom line: Chuck Norris is not afraid of anything except Jon Bischke:)
Aside form being a great friend, Jon is a huge asset to any startup he gets involved with. As an operator, he’s produced nothing but a string of successful companies (all of which produced exits for their investors – one of which I was lucky enough to be involved with too).
He also one of the best networkers of all time – not because he’s a talented schmoozer (he’s that too), but because every time you talk to him you learn something, so everyone just wants to keep talking to him.
Get to know Jon.
I could say a lot more but I’ll stop at one word: Brilliant.
Despite having what’s likely the fuzziest profile pic on VH, Brian’s incredibly sharp. He’s making stuff happen down here in LA and always willing to give of his time to help a fellow entrepreneur. Always a good guy to sip Modelos with.
Very, very smart. Otis gets viral marketing in a way that few do. And he’s able to accomplish a lot with limited resources. Goodreads is a fantastic site and is a great showcase of Mr. Chandler’s talents.
Born to connect. I’ve watched Andrew come to LA and go from knowing no one to being one of the most in the know people in the city in the matter of a few short years. He’s introduced me to a number of helpful people and I can’t thank him enough.
Simply put, an all star. Sundeep is very well-connected and one of the most willing people on the planet to help other people out. There are a handful of people who I have no doubt will change the world for the better in a massive way. Sundeep is one of them.
Jade and Marc are doing something revolutionary at TechForward. Keep an eye on them. If they’re successful they’ll change the way you look at buying consumer electronics…and possibly a whole lot more.

If you’re shopping around for some smart capital definitely pay a visit to Fouad. He’s likely to make you laugh so hard that milk will spurt out your nose (if of course you’re drinking milk in a vc meeting which would be weird) but at the same time he’ll add a good deal more value than the average investor.
Richard is one of the smartest guys I’ve met. And I like what the guys at Blueprint do. They definitely have their China and India strategy figured out! :)
Umair is the only guy I read religiously.
I always tell people “Someday when I’m older I want to be doing the stuff Noah’s doing.” Then I remember, Noah’s like half my age. :) Seriously though, Noah’s a rock star and if you’re not doing something with the guy you really should be.
Big fan of Andre’s. I’d have no hesitations about recommending him to anyone looking for quality legal work. He’s also been very helpful about introducing us to a number of VCs. Great all-around guy.
Mike’s a great guy and been very helpful to us with advice and connections. He’s one of a handful of people that are “hubs” in the LA entrepreneurial scene. If you’re in LA and running a start-up definitely drop Mike a line.
Fish is a smart guy. Very smart. A bet on him is a bet well placed.
Gets user experience in a way that few do. Everything he does reeks of simplicity and intuitiveness (I think that’s a word). Eric’s been very helpful to us @ eduFire and to many other people I know.
I was recently introduced to Derek through a friend and have to admit that I really like what he is doing with Dipity. If I was liquid I’d be an investor. :)
I love planning the disruption of trillion dollar industries and figuring out ways to unlock value all along the chain.
The first two companies I was involved with were acquired by publicly-traded companies and the third is currently operating profitably.
