This is my second venture backed start up! (I don’t count the many lead gen scams I ran while wearing gold jewelry and thanking the Gods for Google and the lack of lead quality screening!)
The original idea for the company is awesome in terms of consumer appeal – imagine a site with every sound clip you can DREAM of! Every movie, tv, video game, commercial, historical, sports quote you could imagine was tagged with boatloads of data and aggregated in a single location where you could play the sound clip and use them to personalize your digital life.
Of course, venture backing means getting real deals done – and bringing in a real CEO and team to take it to the next level. Keep an eye out for the launch of miniRIOT!
If you’re shopping around for some smart capital definitely pay a visit to Fouad. He’s likely to make you laugh so hard that milk will spurt out your nose (if of course you’re drinking milk in a vc meeting which would be weird) but at the same time he’ll add a good deal more value than the average investor.
