I’m a magazine journalist based in San Francisco, where I like to write about all kinds of business and tech, but most of all about the startup culture in Silicon Valley.
I am currently the west coast correspondent for Financial Week, and the Editor of Found|READ.com, another advice network for entrepreneurs that is part of the GigaOM network of blogs. (Nivi has contributed to F|R many times!) We’d welcome your input.
Previously, I as the west coast bureau chief for Fast Company magazine and earlier still, an associate editor with Forbes. I owe a debt of gratitude to my editors at Forbes, who moved me to the Valley, from New York City, one day before the market tanked in 2000—the best education a tech reporter could ask for. I also have a masters degree from Columbia Journalism School, and I was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Economics and Business Journalism at Columbia Business School, which means I have, like, half an MBA. (It might be worth more than a whole one.)
You can find other of my work in the pages of Fast Company, Ode, Inc., (the late) Business 2.0, San Francisco, California, and Outside magazines.
